Winning is easy when you know how to wager!

1. State Track you are wagering on.
2. State amount of your wager ($2 minimum)
3. State type of wager
4. State the number of the horse(s).

WIN:   You win if your horse finishes first.

PLACE:  You win if your horse finishes first or second.

SHOW:  You win if your horse finished first, second or third.

Daily Double:   To win you must select the winners of two consecutive races prior to the first of the two designated races.

Quinella:   You win by selecting the two horses in a single race that finish first and second in either order.  You can choose two horses or box combinations of three or more.   A $2 quinella involves two horses with both finishing first or second.  A $6 quinella "box" lets you choose three horses, and you win if any two of those horses finish first and second.

Exacta:   To win you must select the first two finishers in a single race in exact order.

Trifecta:   To win you must select the first three finishers in a single race in exact order.

Superfecta:   To win you must select the first four finishers in a single race.  

Pick 3: To win you must select the winner of three consecutive races.

Pick 4:   To win you must select the winner of four consecutive races.

Pick 6:   To win you must select the winners of the third through the eighth races.
